I want to be a teacher in NYC.?

Never went to college in USA but graduated from college in Russia(teachers' training college).What is the fastest way to get certificate here.and how to pass the LAST exam from the 1st attempt.Thanks.

Take your transcript to the City Office of Personnel or the State Department of Education for an evaluation. You will be told what exactly you need for certification./

I don't think American colleges will accept Russian college credentials. Talk with your local community college and a high school principal where you live. They will be able to point you in the right direction, but I fear the road will be a long one. Try private schools. Many of them do not have such strict regulations on your credentials, especially if you are teaching the Russian language.
