i want to have a veg. diet with my new exercising life style i am trying to have..what a somethings i can eat as a veg.?

  2. You can eat anything that grows from the earth or originates from something that grows from the earth.  For example, bread is vegetarian because it's made from flour, water, oil, and yeast.  all of those are derived from things that grow except water.

    You can really eat tons of things.  I just had a homemade lunch of black beans, and spanish rice with bell peppers ande onions and corn.  It was scrumptious.

  3. Any plant that is not toxic. You can also eat dairy and eggs if you so desire.

  4. go to the library and get vegetarian cookbooks and stuff. Or google "vegetarian recipies". Oh, and quorn burgers are gorgeous.

  7. a lot of starter vegetarians dont get enough proteins and nutrients that are found in meat so to replenish ur body make sure you eat beans...any kind really b/c they have much needed protein that no other veggie has and the great thing is that you can eat them several different ways so you shouldn't get tired of them!! Also make sure you eat healthy carbs to balance ur diet and give you energy for those workouts...whole grain bread w/ some peanut butter and/or a banana should give you a boost on those workouts and providing much need potassium 4 ur body...so of course all fruits are awesome...also nuts are even better ...nuts such as almonds are loaded w/ alpha-tocophero and vitamin E w/ several other benefits and nut kinds!! and of course u can eat those most known vegetarian foods such as tofu etc that every1 knows..just make sure you dont torture ur body by not giving it what it needs....protein,good carbs, vitamins, potassium and  fiber ( which can b found in whole grains and cereals such as wheaties) ohh and another good thing to have in ur body is calcium either drink milk or eat dairy or if ur more of a vegan take supplements b/c ur body needs the calcium!! With all the food choices it really won't b hard to remove ur self from one category of food if you eat necessary food items!! good luck !!

  8. If you're going vegetarian, not vegan, you can pretty much eat anything besides meat.  Some good "meat" alternatives are things like falafel, veggie burgers, tofu, soy based burgers/dogs...etc.  

    If you're going vegan, make sure to eliminate cheeses, milk products, eggs, etc. If you want to go vegan I'd suggest transitioning from vegetarian to vegan slowly so you can figure out what you can and cannot eat. Best of luck!
