  1. Cool, I want to be a firefighter/astronaut/brain surgeon/veterinarian.

  2. Music soothes the savage beast.

  3. Vet! The cancges of becoming a singer are slim to none. Too many people try to become famous.

If you become a vet, you will be able to save wonderfull little animals everyday!

  4. Both jobs are demanding and it is near impossible to get to the top of both.

This is what I would suggest to you:

Get some experience as a vet to ensure that you do want to continue with this idea. Plenty of vets are willing to take on work experience students for a couple of weeks.

Also get some experience singing and performing. If you haven't already, look for some singing/ drama classes- preferably ones that put on shows- and sign up.

If these don't help you make up your mind and you find yourself reaching college without being sure then I would suggest keeping the singing as a part time hobby or even make some money by performing in the evenings around your studying.

    Good luck with your decision

  5. You can be a vet with a serious/semi-professional (and perhaps one day professional) singing career/hobby.

But I doubt you can be a professional singer who wants to be a vet on the side--unless of course you are ridiculously wealthy and can afford all of the accommodations necessary to pursue both.

I say be the vet first, then sing as a form of recreation until get signed by your first major record label.

  6. Be a vet. Breaking into the music business is very hard and not a lot have what it takes to make it.

If you have the opportunity to become a singer, then go for it!

But i would go to college and be a vet. It seems much more realistic.

  7. Perform songs to pets. Music is known for a cure.

  8. well i think all signs are pointing at being a vet, it's more rewarding, and its a more stable carrier. for instance, if your a singer you may never really get going if you know what i mean, you could spend your entire life TRYING to be a singer and never really getting anywhere. i'm not saying that your not a good singer, i'm saying u might just have bad luck. :) hope this helped :)
