I am nearly sixteen, and have very high grades in school. I want to be an army surgeon on the font lines. Obviously, I would aim to become a Trauma Surgeon and then Sign up. My parents can afford university and easily. I have lived a very tame life - boarding school.....is very, well, uneventful. I want to go on an adventure and serve my country at the same time. Where would I go? I am going to work hard in the sciences over the next year(s). I graduate a year early - I skipped third grade. I have, also, been called a pretty boy too long and want to 'man - up'. lol. I Have heard that the Canadian Forces will pay for your education, in part or in totality, however, not to sound snobbish, but the monies for schooling shan't be an obstacle.

Can anyone give me some advice or guidance on how to go about planning my life for this?

  1.  Talk to a coule reccruiters and do research on it. Its good experience but like the guy below me said, your going to be doing an infantry job as well. You'll get more trauma exp. than any resident nurse or surgeon with the same amt. of time.
