Question:

I want to be an NBA player?

I'm 16 years old, I practice tirelessly everyday for hours. People say I suck at basketball, but it just makes me train harder to prove to everyone that I am good. I will never give up, its my dream and it will never fade, if I have to practice morning to night, I will. What do you think my chances of making it are?

  1. No you don't need to ..

    Joker -> NBA players

  2. keep trying but no way you gonna make da NBA by jus training and all

    you gotta be strong,tall(at least 6'3 unless your spud webb or iverson) have hops and that usually depends on how your parents look and how you eat to reach your full height and sh*t

    but i like your efforts tho

  3. just cuz people say you suck at basketball doesn't mean you do.  they could be jealous for all you know.  the thing you need to do is go down to your local courts (or gym, whatever) and play pickup games with strangers.  if you get beaten to a pulp then you aren't even close.  if you can keep up, or even smash them then tryout for your high school team (sorry i'm australian and if you're in the US i dont know the school system of junior, senior high and varsity etc).   see how well you do

    the next step would be to get into a decent college, where you can be noticed (assuming you make the team), and if you make a big enough impact, you can catch the eye of scouts

  4. sometimes even this isnt enough! its all in your genes. if you dont have the right agility, heights, weight, ect..even your countless hours wont make a difference. if you truely are good, you will know soon enough

  5. If you are 16 and people say you suck at basketball, it's pretty safe to say that you have an absolute zero chance of making it to the NBA.  You should keep your grades up and try to get to a decent college.
