I'm from the Toronto area and I have done multiple acting classes and I'm in the process of getting my headshots. I also purchased the Agents Book but I still have no idea about how I should approach agents? Any advice??

  1. where is Toronto?am also an actress but am from South Africa, maybe i can help you!!

  2. go to actinginfo.blogspot.com for info on movies and how to audition for them

and also remeber you should NEVER pay an agent to represent you. they are suppose to amke only 20 % on the pay you make from commercials etc.

  3. Talk to people in your area to find out which talent agencies are considered "the best" to be with.

Then you submit a head shot, resume and cover letter to that agency (or you can try for more than one).

Some agencies take as many clients as possible where as others are more exclusive.

If they would like to represent you then they call you to meet with them (you may need to do an audition) and they begin to try and get you work...

    Good luck
