  1. yes u should take classes because the more experience you have the better chance of you getting an agent. first take classes then get an agent. acting classes are super easy and fun. if you wanna look for a agent go to talentagents.blogspot.com.

  2. Thats what i want to do! haha, i read in some college prospectus books that you could go to a university and study for a Bachelor or Arts Degree, or various other degrees in the performing arts catagories! Why don't you take some acting classes? Like enroll in some local theatre?

I think youve got to be really confident to be an actor so by meeting new people and attending drama workshops you could do this!

Do you know how I could write a resume/cv?

  3. It doesnt matter how old you are or how much expierience.

Youve got to want to do it more than ANYTHING! thats what really counts.

    good luck

  4. ya cant be shy on an audditon cus they will call NO befor you start

  5. Well, if your shy, i hope you not shy on stage.

okay so if you want to be on a big screen, the thing is to have experience. Take acting classes since your ou of high school.

Look for community theater places in Miami, and do preforming arts school somewhere.

Even though i suggests not staying in school too long, then you won't be able to go out and find an agent.

just do it enough where you know how to get in touch with your emotions and method acting.

  6. Taking classes in HS doesn't really matter, but now that you're out in the world you need to find an acting studio and take classes there.  No John Robert Powers or anything like that.  It needs to be a real legit studio.

What I don't understand is that if you know so many actors, why are you here asking us?  The entertainment business is all about networking, who you know.  You should be making those connections with them and asking their advice.

Get into classes ASAP and start auditioning for theatre, student and indie films and commercials.  Once you've been in classes for  a while and have built up a resume you can start submitting to agents.   Hopefully you will have overcome your shyness and made some great contacts so that they will feel comfortable referring you to their agents.

    good luck,

    Marianne
