I want to be an actress.

Question

I don't know what to do. I really want to be a actress in a movie, does anybody have advice for me? I am almost 13 years old but I am really wanting to do this! Please help a girl in need!!

Any advice or comments would help! Please tell me all that you know about this crazy business!!

1. get some training (dance,voice acting)

2. community theater

3 make sure you REALLY want this

4 get an agent

this all could take years but go and follow your dreams and always have a backup

Get an agent, keep an eye out for auditions. You need a headshot and resume. Send it off for agents and auditions. Good Luck. Those two words right there are basically all you can go by in this business. Try for a TV show or made for TV movies, Indies work too. Heck, if  you want to send out for auditions for big budget films, you may not land these roles, but they effort counted. Hope you can get a film role, or a TV, and I hope that one day I will see you on the Red Carpet.

It helps if you have experience and also you need an agent once you got that covered you can go on the internet and search for castings that fit you. Your 13 and that's the age that most talent agencies are looking for so you'll be O.K.

So first off i think u would make sure u really want this because if u make it big i dont thinks theres n e turning back!

Then i would try to do local plays

And try to get an agent! (theyll get u auditions)
