I want to be an architect, but I cannot draw (I am terrible), but I am okay at math?

Could I become an architect.

  1. Yes you could, drawing is a skill and you can learn it.

    That goes for every kind of drawing but

    Especially technical drawing.

    Get how to draw books, read the instructions, don't just learn to copy the pictures, then start to draw from life as much as possible, you'll need some kind of portfolio for architecture school, get books on technical graphics as well.

    Also, if you're going to put yourself through all this, be sure you know why you want to be an architect, and exactly what the job will involve, both now and in 10 or 20 years time, it's something that changes all the time, and it's a dying thing in some ways with all the new computer programs that are being used now.  


  2. You don't have to know how to draw....and if you want to its easy! Just start off slow and it will kick in...but the math will help you out as well..:) Good Luck!
