  1. learn to write, get a good pen , and a bright light, also plenty of paper. all  these things make a good author.

  2. Write something down!

  3. There's several articles on the internet about writing. After you've searched the basic tips, go more in depth and search things like 'how to make a story suspenseful' or 'how to write a love scene' or 'how to write horror', you get what I mean.

  4. Make a story with a Orange who can talk, that'd be awsome.. :)

  5. write what you know

i also want to become one

its probably gonna be hard cus some people wont like it

but u have to stick to it if you want it bad

  6. Well just as long as you have good writing skills, you should be fine. I want to be a writer someday as well. Goodluck!

  7. people like to read about stuff that has to relate to them in some way(school, friends, sports, home, parents, parties, vacations).  some people base books off of what is happening in their own life(like in the movie read it and weep).  if you have a diary, write your stories off that.  change up some of the details and names to make it more interesting.  if you are basing your story toward younger kids, mysteries or animals are great.  teens like mysteries and juicy details.  remember to have fun with your writing, and you will get far ;-)

    remember:

    proofread

edit (get friends and family to edit also)

    read aloud

make sure letters are capitalized when they should be and not when they shouldn't.

grammar teachers and grammar books will help a lot.

  8. I just write using words I hear.

  9. write!

It's t he best advice anyone can ever give a new writer. The more you write, the better you get. Write! Write! Write!

    (and Read! Read! Read!)

  10. Hi,

My opinion is that you should write.

    Write and write some more.

Write about your trip to the grocery store. Write about a friend's face.

Write about a tree in your yard. Write the story of how your parents met. Just keep writing and don't judge any of it.

By writing about anything and everything, you will eventually find your own style of writing.

Read as much as you can about authors you like, to get inspiration from them.

    Don't let yourself become discouraged!

  11. Anything and EVERYTHING from "Writers' Digest." Google it.

  12. Write what you want and only what you want. Accept criticism, rude or not, and consider the person's views.

  13. go to college

  14. You could use your imagination and try to think hard. I love making up mangas I got only 3 ideas, but loving them. Maybe if you decide what kind of short stories. Like fantasy? Romance, comedy? drama, action, suspense? horror, mystery?  I like romance-comedy and fantasy in there too!

  15. Get a journal and write down ideas for different stories...then write out the little details, the plot, characters, and so forth...practice makes perfect...
