  1. Go to a racing school and see what you've got. I'd recommend Skip Barber or Bertil Roos.

  2. No offense but your not the best, you just think you are. 170? WTF were you driving to go that fast? You must either be lying or stupid.

Formula 1 is not some walk in with a million bucks and come out a champ. You need to be good, I mean a very sharp and knowledgeable person, in top physical condition. You have to be better that most drivers in road racing sports to even be considered to drive a champ-car let alone formula 1.

But a practical approach would be to get rid of your "hot rod" get into go carting, professionally i mean, and practice. If your any good you would win races for a resume. Then take your resume to a carting championship that offers some kind of sponsorship or prize for the podium finish. If your luck or just plain good like me, then you can get a seat in a formula car or do carting pro. No noobs. I would aim for the formula racing because if your a winner and good at what you do then you'll move up. Eventually to Indy or chamcar ws. Once you make it to the big leagues contact f1 teams for a test run. If your fast you'll probable last.

  3. You have to start racing professionally from the lowest league and slowly move to the highest league and start winning things consistently, especially win championship. Hopefully someone notices you

I believe that people in the higher leagues will help you, because of their link with the big names

  4. If you have the potential, anyone can be a formula 1 driver.

And I hope to god you were on either the German or Austrian autobahns.

  5. no money required if you have tallent. schumachaer had no money when chose his career... but still even after getting retired he's the world's richest sportsstar.

  6. Drive in races and get sponsered so they will pay you money and save up and get an f1 vehicle

  7. The best way to train for F1 is karting, you must show your skills there, and if you are impressive, you may just get some big guns to sponsor you. This is how Michael Schumacher started.

  8. for one, PRAY cos without money thats the only hope youve got!

for two, GET OFF THE PUBLIC ROADS YOU W@N|<ER! you want to go fast, thats fine, do it on a track or somewhere where do arent putting innocent peoples lives at risk by speeding on public roads and thru traffic!

  9. Well, if you're really good, you don't have to worry. Talent spotters will definitely be interested in you, so you'd get sponsored. Plus, since you have genuine passion, I'm sure you'd get quite far.

    Good luck.

  10. You can't be the best when the only one you've ever raced against is yourself.

Doing 170mph down the straight is not driving ability, it's horsepower.

You need to get into racing and get noticed, for that you'll need to come up with some sort of budget that will help you self finance your racing until you prove you're good and sponsors become interested in you.

I don't know many cars that can do 170mph so yours is probably one of the better ones let's put it this way, so it performs better than most any other car on the street while drivers of other "exotics" are usually not hot headed enough to race them on the street or good enough to drive them fast, they're usually businessmen not race car drivers.

And remember, the harder you push on the street and the more stupid risks one takes the faster he goes, usually the boldest or just plain stupidest wins.

On the racetrack everybody can push, it's a completely different picture, you have to be prepared to fight for tenths lap in lap out, if you think you're just gonna get on the track and smoke everybody you're in for a surprise.

The difference between a new and an experienced race car driver is like night and day.

Find a race category you can afford and jump into the action.

You may get shocked at first but if you're really good you may evolve into what you think you are.

    Good luck.

  11. You and about three million others...    Motor racing is a difficult and expensive sport to get into,  give karting a go, thats usually where talent gets spotted but you may already be too old as most drivers start at a very young age.   If that doesn't work out, get yourself a ps3.
