I want to be homeschool???

i want to be homeschool just for this second half of my school year, the reason being is that i have OCD and it really bugs me at school, i have to do things a certain way and i feel really stress out " my parents dont know i have OCD and i dont want to tell them because it worries them more, i suffer from acne which is kind of going away, but people look at me weird at school and they sometimes make fun of me.

i am not a dumb kid, and i think i would do better doing homeschool online through flvs. i have taken online classes in FLVS, and i have gotten good grades on them, i find it really easy and better to learn. Also i just turn 16 so i want to start working to help out my parents and myself too. so if i get homeschool ill be able to work full time mon through fri, and in the weekends ill sign on FLVS and do my classes.

my parents agree with me when i use to have a lot of acne but since it is going away they say is better not to, now how do i convince them to let me get homeschool

I think that you need to have a heart-to-heart talk about this with your parents. They need to know about your OCD so that they can help you, and since homeschooling generally requires lots of support from your parents it's best to tell them the whole story.

It sounds like you've got a good argument for it, and taking charge of your own education is one of the biggest things colleges are looking for.

I'd recommend that you just sit down with your parents, and possibly an academic coach, and talk this all out.

Tell them about your OCD so you can get some help with it.  A good book on the subject is Brain Lock.  It can't be fun to deal with that all by yourself.

It sounds like you have valid reasons for wanting to homeschool.  Sit down and organize your thoughts and share them with your parents.
