  1. Good for you. You might want to read a book called the Teenage Liberation handbook.

Then start doing the research so you can show that that you are responsible. Go to

    http://www.k12.com/homeschool

Research your state's laws at http://www.hslda.com

And then make sure you are showing how responsible you are around the house with your chores and such. By doing this they will see you are serious and that you will be able to do school mostly on your own. They may be concerned about having to plan everything out.

    Best of Luck

  2. Because being home-schooled takes a major commitment from the parents, and some are not prepared for it, and it depends a lot on your relationship with your parent,  if your not the type that follows thru , without a lot of direction,  if your not self motivated,  and ready to do what your told,  when your told, and if your the argumentative type, then the parents might not be ready to handle it,   they may need you to go to school.   to give the relationship with you a break,

if your home-schooled, you better really like your parents, and your parents better really like you ,  not love, that is given,  but like,   like being around,  24/ 7   got it?  lol

    good luck

  3. Just try asking. Even before doing any major research just sound your parents out, see what they think. You never know they might surprise you and think it's a great idea :-)

  4. Make a list of why you want to become homeschooled. List the pros and cons and compare public school with homeschooling. Do research to explain what you want. Then show your parents. Good Luck! =)

  5. Just talk to them about it and why you want to do it. If the reason they say no is that they don't want to have to teach you or don't have the time to, you could think about cyberschooling. I'm doing that and I'm going to graduate at least a year early. I use K12 Virtual Academy http://www.k12.com/

  6. All you can do is talk to them and see. They're not going to eat you. At the worst they say no and you're no worse off than you were before. You could mention wanting to avoid the many negative distractions a lot of public school kids encounter. Good luck.

  7. im homeschooled, and the same age as you.

at first my dad didn't like it,

but then he did research and found out that you can learn twice as much being homeschooled than at a regular school.

i don't understand why people make such a big deal

    its not like its bad.

but anyways, if i work hard i can graduate when im 15, or 16 rather than 18

    its way better =]

and if you need help or anything don't be afraid to emai me =]
