I want to be homeschooled, but how do i go about it?

I live in Westminster London and i hate the school i go to and really want to be homeschooled but i dont know what you have to do to be aload to be homeschooled.

What my ma had to do was, she went through the school board but she send a letter to them.

Don't be too hasty to wish for that. It happened to me and I regret it.

My best guess would be that you could be home school from the school that you go to. You'll have to set it up and aproved by the school board or whatever governing body over that school.  Ask your principal.

You have to have daytime supervision, comply with local law regulating homeschooling and pick a program or method to use.

Your first step is learning the laws.  Then finding a program that works for you.

In Arkansas, you must fill out some forms of intent to homeschool or something like that for the schoolboard. That is all you're required to do here to start homeschooling and then you are required to test every two years or so to make sure you're keeping up. Some states are more or less strict than this though. Your parents need to contact the schoolboard.
