Question:

I want to be on Broadway. How can i do it? Anyone with experience that can tell me?

Im 14. I love to sing. I've taken dance classes since i was 4 and voice lessons for a few months. i love to sing and dance and act. I haven't done that much "work" tho.

-Sandy in my middle school's "Grease"

-i sang "Day by Day" for "Godspell" for community theater

-i was in regional choir

-im in my school choir

thats about it... anything i can do to boost my chances? i dont have money for any fancy schools

  1. Keep doing what you're doing - classes, and getting as much experience in all types of theatre as you can.  When you leave school, audition for musical theatre programs at recognised universities; from there you will hopefully get an agent.  Be prepared to work off-Broadway and in regional theatre to build up experience, and when you have a decent resume under your belt you can start auditioning for Broadway.
