Question

a security guard/officer when im older, i want to know what qualifictions i may need or any course i will need 2 undertake, and wot is the training like, i heard some security personals are trained in brazilian ju jitsu, i live in Australia and im 16 now

In the US, typical unarmed security guards are paid very little.  The top guys are paid about $12 per hour.  I'm talking about guys that are working at the mall, or guarding a business, etc.     The requirements for this are typically a high school diploma and no criminal record.  You will receive very little training and none of it will have to do with martial arts.  It will mostly be verbal confrontation training.  It works like this, the parent company charges the mall say $20 per hour for the service, then they pay you a 1/3rd of the rate they are charging.  

Armed security guards and higher paid and can get up to $22 per hour.  They have more training, but it's all about the weapon.  

Then when you get to be a bodyguard or work for the government, you can make a little bit more.  These people require both lethal and non lethal training, but it's hard to get the higher paying jobs.

my lil brother took combat judo and bjj and got picked to be a court officer over about 150 other applicants.. he also took classes on law and law enforcement at community college

It's a bit of a loser job. If you want a life of adventure and danger, not to mention a good salary, become a paramilitary man.

brazilian ju jitsu WILL NOT help. its only good as a in-the-ring martial art where there is only one opponent and your fighting with gloves on.

krav maga would be ideal. if thats not available do whatever you can. boxing/kick boxing/karate would all be good (and are easy to find)

you should probably get really fat and loose all your hair, maybe grow a mustache, thats how most security guards do it.
