I want to be top of my class

how should i do this like what should i look for questions look for deeper meaning what should i do to get to the top of my class

People who sit on top are people with good knowledge.

Try to understand each word of the text you read.

Initially this takes a lot of time .. .  and sooner it takes no time at all

After that you have to do a lot of hard work to form a notes comprising questions and answers.

Thirdly you have learn some items by heart which have to be reproduced in the examinations without any mistakes, omissions, errors etc... like derivations, formulae, values of certain constants, theorems in mathematics, pictures and diagrams etc.

Thus intelligence with hardwork will take you to the top.

Just trying to learn by piece meal sometimes fetches you but not always

You don't want to stand out, you want to blend in. Smart, cool, funny, attractive, important people are always targets. Besides being top of your class means absolutely nothing. I believe most people could accomplish it, school really isn't about intelligence. I did pretty good, but not because I'm smart, but because I fed the teachers exactly what they wanted to hear and have an excellent short term memory.
