  1. they dont even do those kinda things at our school cause everyone only votesfor the popular kids and never anybody else

its just a huge popularity contest and nothin else

but good luck anywayz :) <33

  2. My high school got rid of those popularity contests...

  3. nahh i dnt go 2 high school yett=/

    1 more yr tho haha

  4. Just show your best dance. And try to get the most attention/applause from others. Doesn't matter whether you are voted or not. Go for it.

  5. Sometimes high school is a popularity contest.

Just be proud of yourself and your great dance skills...some people will probably vote for you.

Think positive...don't act like you aren't important and like she will just get all the votes and have a perfect life. Nobody is perfect.

  6. u nvr now.....=]]

  7. High school is full of stories like this.  Fortunately, life beyond high school is not quite as bad - talent counts for much more in the "real world," though popularity is always a factor in everything.  At least there will be more venues to compete in and more people who appreciate your abilities.

Work hard at your dancing, and take advantage of  every opportunity you get to show off your skills.  Get some good friends to "campaign" for you and pass the word that they're going to vote for you, and other people should too.  Then tell yourself that no matter what happens, you've become a better dancer, you've given it your 100% best effort, and you've had experience competing for something you want.  Whether you win or not, no one can take those things away from you.

There will always be other chances and other awards to win.  Life will go on.

Good luck - give it your best shot!

  8. Don't try too hard at superlatives

    It's nothing

The popular kids get voted for

Everyone's going to forget about it in a few months.
