I want to become a Game designer?

Okay I know that when you go into making games their are difrent jobs in that fField For iinstant's Designers, Programmers, artists, and sound designers. I want to become a designer, but I am not good at Programming, I can do it but not that well. I also can not Draw. So what should I do, lots of places like people who can do more then one thing, can I be a designer and also work with audio? Or is being able to program a necessity please some help. I am a grade 12 student, and I have university in my sites.

  2. You're not good at programming so you can't write the code.  You can't draw, so you can't draw the graphics.  (And you aren't aware of spelling and homonyms, so you can't write the text.)

    I don't mean to burst your bubble, but people who are happiest for the long haul are those who do what they can do best.  Scratching your right cheek with your right hand can be nice - scratching your right elbow with your right hand just frustrates you because you can't do it.  Being a game designer, when you can't design games, is going to be the reason you hate getting out of bed every day.

    Don't decide on anything unless you develop a real passion for something and can at least do a little of it (and are eager to spend years learning enough to get good at it - at 66, I'm still taking classes in various aspects of programming, because I love learning new programming techniques.  If you don't love it, do something else.)
