  1. um idk but my mom is an MRI and see doesn't like it 1 bit

  2. As said before, if you wanted to be a radiologist (a doctor that reads MRIs, Xrays, CT scans etc), you would have to go to a four-year college and receive your bachelor's degree.  Then go to medical school.

You asked about the difficulty of school: In undergrad, you would be expected to get approximately a 3.6 GPA (with at least a 3.4 in science classes).  Additionally, you have to take the MCAT which is a 5 hour standardized test.  http://www.medicalschooladmission.com/ for more info.

Then you have to go to medical school, which is very difficult, but for the most part student who are able to get in pass (as long as they work hard).  Here you would apply for residency (or training) to become a radiologist.

Becoming a radiologist is quite competitive due to people wanting set hours and great pay. This would be another four years of schooling.

Essentially to become a radiologist, you are looking at 12 years of school.  Sorry if I sound harsh, but I wanted to make sure to put things into perspective.

  3. DO you mean a radiological technician? That's not a doctor, but they would assist people receiving MRIs and Xrays. You would go to school for 2-3 yrs depending on the program. You would need to go to a trade or technical college.

  4. you need a degree in medicine (requires AAB at a-level including chemistry) after the medical degree you need to specialise in radiology. Consultant radiologists earn between £85 000- £110 000 depending on experience

  5. You have to do Radiography (the 2 yr degree), and then certify for MRIs. That is only for the technician, you won't be able to tell the patients what you see.

The doctor is called Radiology (you should start out with a 4 yr in a science like Biology) and you have to go to Med school after that. You won't be doing just MRIs, you'd be doing X-rays, CT scans, sonograms, etc. But you won't actually be taking the pictures.
