I want to become a Pilot and work in Cardiff Airport (South Wales) or any other near, but my GCSEs start in 2 days (oh my god!) but I need to know what I need to do/what steps i have to take to become a Pilot.

- I have considered joining the RAF (Royal Air Force) but I don't have 20/20 vision (i have short-vision) so i can't look far very well, so is that out of the question? i also am not fond of the 12 year 'membership' to them after the training

- I have also considered the Army and the Navy

- I DO want to be a Pilot, so the will is there and i'll push myself if i can't reach the targets. Although my options for college and stuff are still open to me, as are other jobs (unsure of what though)

But what do i need to do now? Should i go to Cardiff airport and ask if i can become a pilot (lol) ? Then what? How much money must i pay for training and air time, etc. ?

Please help
