I want to become a commercial pilot, after graduation.?

I have bronchial Asthma, but I have had no attack for the last 10-12 years. Will my asthma be a problem ? I am currently in my third year of engineering (mechanical). Can I become a comm. pilot after graguation ?

  1. If you want to become a professional aircraft pilot, you--no doubt--have questions concerning--and beyond--your health issues. Why not get all of them answered by clicking over to www.aopa.org? I can think of no better way than the information the good folks in Frederick, MD have to get you started off right. They've been answering questions like yours for over 50 years.


  2. yes.  asthma shouldn't be a problem.  If you want to be a pilot though join the military.  you will get more experience and be more likely to get a job.  very few pilots commercially aren't ex military

  3. well going that if you were a diabetic you cant become a commercial pilot, i would have to say in you case it would be the same
