I want to become a physician assistance.?

I graduated High School in June 2008. Should i have been a RN or an LPN to become a physician assistance? I only have a High School diploma will i still be able to take classes in college without having any medical training in the past. please help me and thank u for your time any advice or information is greatly appreciated.

  1. Do you want to be an actual Physician Assistant who sees and treats patients under a physician.  Or a nurse who assists the doctor in his office.  

    An actual physician's assistant will require graduate school but you won't have to be a nurse to be one.  You can get a degree in any life science.

    If you do decide to become a RN, then go to grad school you can become a Nurse Practitioner who is parallel with a PA.

  2. I just graduated in May 2008 and am looking to do the same thing. Go with the RN and once you recieve your RN you will go to graduate school. Make sure you make really good grades and pass the recommened tests that way you have a better chance of getting in the Graduate program. Good luck.
