  1. To become a scientist it takes about 10years maybe more depending where you want to specialize.

At all these 10 years I will need a job to make the money for my education. If anyone is working there way up or is already, where do you or did you get your money for education. If from a job what job.

Im in highschool right now grade11. Iam taking physics, chemistry, math, English this semester. Previously (relevant) courses I took are biology + prerequisites for all those.

Why is physical education mandatory, its not even education you just play sports all day. And I still have to take it. And Iam lazy and just sleep on my spare time.

Other sites that'll tell you how to become scientist:

  2. everyone is already a scientist.......... u just have to start (as the movie kung fu panda would say) at lvl 0. start w/ just being curios find a local problem ask questions to yourself like how can i... or if i can..... then when you answered those questions start inventing.

  3. Just about anyone with a PhD can be a scientist. However, those that are really noteworthy have that little something built right into their minds and personality from early on.  My advise to you is to really evaluate the reasons you want to be a researcher.  If you are thinking money, forget it, be a banker.  If you have an inter-drive to understand how nature, the world, and the universe works at the deepest level, then there's a good possibility you will do well in science.  Science is a love, a passion about understanding nature and about achieving something that really makes a difference in life for humanity.

Join a science book club and read books written by famous engineers, scientists and researchers. You will discover that most of these individuals are of a certain kind of personality and temperament style---see the INTJ temperament. Research Albert Einstein, Heisenberg, Bohr, Isaac Newton, and many others.  Learn about what it was that turned them on to science and drove them to achieve their goals, and the trade offs and personal sacrifices.  Keep in mind that many of these higher level scientists already new what they wanted to accomplish even in their teens and, for most part had achieved their goals and objectives in their early twenties and certainly by 40.

I suggest: EINSTEIN: His Life and Universe, by Walter Isaacson, ISBN: 13-978-7432-6473-0  This is also available in CD at book stores. Well worth the cost. It allows you to get into the head of one of the greatest of scientists, and learn some very good physics along the way.

Being a scientist requres something of a mindset. Science and engineering is a way of looking at the world and how it works, that is different from most people's perspective.  It is kind of an out of the box way of looking at what one perceives as reality.  Science, if nothing else, its a life long learning process.

    Good luck.

  4. fail in your exams, then people will appreciate your achievement and then you can go to the research centre and become..."THE GREATEST SCIENTIST"
