I want to become a vet technician! Please help I need some information!?

Okay so i just turned 15. I know maybe its a little young to think of college and future careers but all my life i have wanted to be a vet but the closest to it that dosent take as long to get a degree is a vet tech.

So my questions are (please answer as much as you can)

1) What should my average (GPA) be and what classes and what grades am i supposed to get in hs to get into a vet tech program?

Im always on an 85ish..because im always playing tennis and soccer after school.

2) What is the average salary for this job (for a year)

3) Any experiences would be appreciated if shared. (College Years,Applications..how you like your job..etc

And just some extra info I have a dog,4 cats,a bird and 3 turtles. I really love animals and am always saving them that are outside and are abondened. So i think this is a good career.

Check out the Occupational Outlook Handbook on the Bureau of Labor Statistics website (see below - I put a link...).  It will tell you about salary, schools that offer the degree needed, where to get more info, just about everything!

You will need some understanding of biology, but you have one of the main prerequisites...you love animals.
