Here, you need to be 18 years old. At most restaurants, they may want to start you as a hostess or another position to kind of get you some experiance working the other employees, and get you used to the "rush" and then complete deadness of most restaurants.

I was a waitress for many years, and you will appreciate the experiance, trust me! :)

P.S. Make sure you say on your resume that you work well with others, because a HUGE part is how you work with the other cafe staff!

you [usually] ahve to be 16 because you''ll be working in a restraunt scenario.

just apply like a normal job and tell them you want to be service.

and they'l train you on what to do and say and such.

it's scary at firsty, but you get used to it in about a month.
