  1. To begin you need to get your private pilot's certificate; it's also recommended that you get a college degree; and you need to be in very good physical condition.

  2. Yes you need maths and physics. You have to do a diploma in aviation which you do while going for a commercial pilots licence. If you don't want to train through the military or a university you can contact your local flying school. Some flying schools offer degrees and have all the courses you need. You have to pass a class 1 medical and a police check before you can fly solo. The become an airline pilot you need a Commercial pilot license, an ATPL, IFR rated, there's alot involved, but unless you get a cadetship with an airline as soon as you get your commercial pilot license you have to do charter or become an instructor to build your hours and get all the ratings you need to get closer to being an airline pilot.

    I hope this as helped.

  3. To be a commercial airline pilot without a diploma would be nearly impossible. Also, most commercial pilots start in the military (Cheapest way to get flight hours). Those slots are highly competitive and, when you finish flight school, you essentially have an associates degree equivalent. But, since pilots are normally officers, you can't hold a rank over Warrant Officer without a college degree. The math and other skills you learn in school are absolutely essential basic skills you must know in order to fly.
