If you wanted to be a pilot, I'd say join the Air Force.  To be a 'regular' astronaut, there are a few ways.  The most common is to apply to the astronaut training program.  They open it up every two years, and they take applications from people who have at least a bachelors degree in science or engineering, and who have worked in their field for a few years (this can including teaching K-12).  The other way is to get a PhD in your field, build an instrument that needs to be launched from space, and somehow make yourself instrumental to that launch.  I've known one person to do that, but I don't think it's the most common way to go.  So try getting at least a BA, or an advanced degree (PhD) in whatever field you're interested in, and then applying to the training program.
