1. There is no "best" aviation school.  There are tons of schools worldwide, each with their own good and bad qualities.

2. Placement is highly competitive worldwide

3. Vision correctable to 20/20, good cardiovascular condition, etc.

4. Expensive.  Depends on where you live, but you can easily drop $40-60,000 in the US.

5. Depends again on the course.  Some places have accelerated courses that can be done in a year or so.  Realistically, it will take a few years.

Another requirement is mastery of the English language.
