I want to become the arts captain in my high school. What should i do to get more votes?

hey everyone...i'm nominated for the Arts Captain position in my high school. All i need to do is to deliver a good and convincing speech. Now, what promises or "promises" should i give them, what should i say to make my speech good and attention grabbing? the more relevant with arts the better.

What is the role of an arts captain?

Regarding making your speech, I would suggest avoid making promises.  Instead state your strengths and what you support.  So instead of "I promise better artwork displayed in the halls" say "I believe that more artwork should be displayed in the halls"

Watch some of those presidential speeches to get some ideas.
