It has been a few years since I have booked a ferry from Liverpool to Ireland! We used to book the seacat four hour ferry, at a reasonable cost! I can only find 8 hour crossings at mad prices, eg. £650, for one car with four adults for a week.

Does anyone know if this is the only Ferries available now? 8 hours and at those kind of prices.

Would appreciate any info, if you have it!

Thanks and best regards amanda

  1. if you have a car go from hollyhead its a good road all the way.

  2. it is so expensive.and depends what time of year you are going.and also they cancel the seacat if the weather is bad,or you could travel to fishguard/or pembroke and travel cheaper.

  3. What are you smokin....Go here

  4. That is very expensive!

Perhaps you should rethink and possibly do the Rail Crossing to Dublin, Waterford, which costs approx £60 for a return per person and then hire a vehicle over there.

Or fly to Dublin, prices are very low some friends went over in the middle of the night on a plane movement and flew for £10 per person plus tax then hired a car out there for about £100 for the week.
