i am 15 years old and its a tradition to go trick or treating with my 8 year old cousin. 2 of my best friends always come with me. During the day me, my 2 friends and younger cousin go trickortreating. then at night just me and my friends go trick or treating but we have to be back before 8:30. also, i cant wear a scary costume because my cousin is a scardy cat. do u think this is babish? i think so and i want to break free from this tradition and stay out as late as i want and not have to go trick or treating with my 8 year old cousin. have any advice for me on how to do this?

  1. I am sixteen and i stopped trick or treating...oooh, when i was about 12/13...it just gets boring ang no-one gives you sweets and money anymore...its a tradition for young children, not for young adults...maybe say to your parents well if take my cousin round in the day!? Maybe i could go out tonight to a halloween party and be home at half ten instead of half eight!? I am allowed out till 1am when i am out with my friends. As i am 16 i do think thats fair...but 15 is completley different because although your only a year younger this is the year you start to mature most. So earn your trust with your parents and come back on your curfew time, and then everyones happpyyy! :) xx

  2. NO ONE is to old for trick or treating

    :D

well just tell your momma and your dadda ;D

that u don't wanna go with your cousin

and get a super duper scary costume

maybe even go to knott's scary farm thats the greatest

  3. Actually, I think anyone over 12 is too old for trick or treating.

The small children are the ones we give money to, along with the candy.

The older ones look pathetic and we give very little to them.

It is sort of like an adult sitting on Santa's lap at the mall, a bit ridiculous.

  4. You need to sit down with your parents and tell them how you feel.  That's the only way it will get changed.

  5. tell em
