I want to bring my wife and kids to the usa can any lawyer answer me please?

i filed a petition for my wife and kids on october 2005 , and it's approved and since then i didn't hear anything, how long should i wait ( 3 years now ) and is there any way to bring them temporariley till a visa is issued, and do i miss anything here, any papers or procedures i should make

I'm not a lawyer but i can tell you to check on your case status contact the Nebraska or you immigration center because after they got approved they have to wait for there turn, that's the approving time... and you cannot file for a visitor visa because one person can apply for one visa to the same country at a time or else the first application will be canceled

If you are US Citizen, they could have filed I-485 as soon as your I-130 was approved. They still could do that.

If you are US Permanent Resident, they still have to wait until their Priority Date (PD), October 2005 becomes current according to the Visa Bulletin (VB). As of August 2008 anyone who has PD either on or before October 1, 2003, except Mexico Citizen, can file I-485. They still have about 2 years more or less to wait.

Check VB monthly for the PR current date.
