i need to know what scale to used so it will be the right size. Im searching for a building that comes in the lines of a hangar (airplane) or a warehouse (like an abandoned one). And if you know of any web sites that sell buildings, trees, fences, road, people, accessories....PLEASE list them. Thank you sooo much for the help.

  1. Hi:

Your buildings will need to be in S scale on the train scale for more info. Here are some websites:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_sca...

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scale_model...

    Stores:

  2. Unfortunately, none of the model railroading scales match... HO is 1:87, and O is 1:43.

MY recommendation for building is to go to the hobby-shop and select HO scale MATERIAL... and design a building of your own.  "Plastruct" is a company that makes plastic sheet and beams that work GREAT for scratch-building a building.

You can also pick up a copy of Kambach Publishing's book on building basic structures: http://kalmbachcatalog.stores.yahoo.net/...

    GOOD LUCK
