I'm interested in building a miniature car that's proportional to a real car, that will run on gas and everything like a real car, only a lot smaller. I think I read something about it, like a 'how to:' somewhere, but I've been trying to find it on the web, but I can't find it. Has anyone ever heard of something like that?

How scaleable are you talking - 3/4 - 1/2 size and drivable or smaller for remote control?? Some companies do offer scaled car bodies in fiberglass. You need to build the chassis (some come with chassis) and finish the car. I built a 1/2 scale '34 Ford fenderless streetrod  this way with full functioning suspension and a small motor to drive it. I've seen a '39 Chev built 5/8 scale - fully street legal. A lot of this is learn as you go. Good luck, have fun!
