I want to build a chipping green in my back yard?

I live in Alvin, Tx. where the weather is humid and hot, What is the easiest and fastest way to build a chipping green. I have enough space, i just need to know what grass to use.. Bermuda?? and what kind of dirt??

I have built 2 so far but have used artificial grass.I googled putting greens to refresh my memory.
