I want to build a rat cage! Need sites for ideas!?

Question

Eventually i want to help build (I'm only 14) my 2 rats a new cage that would be easy to clean because they are not litter trained. I saw one on dapperra.com made at of a bookself. But any other sites that have good cage ideas would be nice.

Since your rats aren't litter trained, I wouldn't use a wood (though fake wood/plastic would be fine).  Another way to avoid problems is to get some fleece from a fabric store and make liners (basically cover the floors).  If your rats pee then it just gets absorbed, and every week or so you can throw them in the laundry to get washed.

do not use wood.

wood soaks up urine.

which leads to bacterial growth.

book shelf types are the best to get coz they have levels
