I have a free trial of Cucusoft Video/DVD converter and I tried converting some videos I found on YouTube.com but, my DVD player can't play it. I would like to know what kind of format that DVD's use in general and if anyone has a comment on a specific format feel free to let me know. This DVD is for a school project so if anyone has anything to contribute, please do so, Thank You.

  1. Just burn the DVD as "DVD Video" and you should be fine.

The program should be able to convert the video files for you.

If not, you can get a trial version of Nero pretty easily, which is by far the best DVD burning program out there.

  2. DVD format is VOB or MPEG-2, I think that's the answer. You may try this all-in-one dvd creator, it can help you burn YouTube video to DVD, my friends recommend it to me, it's easy to use and works pretty well

  3. Yea I would recommend using Nero.  Make sure you use a DVD that the dvd can play (dvd-r or dvd+r) check the player to see what they are compatable with, most will play both but a cheaper one may only play one or the other.  I would also test it out in the player you are using at school before you plan to show it in your project to make sure it all runs smoothly.

  4. I would recommend you download ConvertXtoDVD. Ive been using it for a year now, on windows, never had a problem!

It will convert your video files to the dvd format readable by all standard dvd players, then burn automatically to DVD!

it is easy to use, fast and it works perfect for me.. give it a try, you'll love it

    1. Download ConvertXtoDVD from vso official site here:

    2. Add or drag-n-drop as many video files as the DVD can handle
