Where can I buy 'transfers' suitable for a child's translucent plastic raincoat, and how can I get them on. She would like fairies, Barbie, rainbows etc. All the ready made raincoats are too small for her..

  1. I bought butterflies etc in Hickeys (Its in Ireland) but you could probably get them in a sewing shop or craft shop. The ones I bought you iron on, but theres different ways. Also, the ones you put on skin might work too.

  2. According to your question, you are saying ready-made raincoats are too small for your child, and you are going to have to buy a special raincoat.

Once you find an appropriate raincoat for your child, you can cut out any figures from plastic sheets you buy at a craft store and hot glue them on the coat.

  3. the craft stores sell this tape and it is called no sew you have to iron it on a very low setting but it will sew the to pieces together. I would try a cloth patch like fairy or what ever you choose witch will withstand the heat.
