  1. Get a copy of Hemmings motor news, they list cars that are collectible, for sale. You can find it an any good book store. They also have advertisers of parts needed to maintain an older car. Check out hemmings.com, but be seated when you do this, these cars are not cheap. There is no other feeling like it then when your driving a car everyone stares at. buy it now.

  2. I think - you should also compare insurance quotes for these cars before buying one, for example here: http://autoinsurance.hotusa.org

Such a sporty car costs a lot to insure.

  3. Check the internet when you are ready to buy.  If you are waiting 5 years because you are not old enough to drive, keep up with your interest in cars on the net.  Check your local library for car magazines.  If you buy from a private person rather than a dealer, you are less likely to get ripped off.

Start saving your money now for the car.  Open up a savings account (if you are too young get a parent to co-sign).  Use this account only for saving up for the car and related expenses such as tax, insurance, gas, etc.

  4. Gee...used car inventories vary from time to time. Why don't you ask again (say in about 5 years) & I will tell you.PS:I don't know anyone who wants the same car as they did 5 years ago.

  5. I doubt you will find a 36 year old car, or even want it in 5 years.
