I want to buy a Sony HDD (hard drive) camcorder should i get 40gb or 60 gb??

Just want to no if its good reliable etc besides that the recording time is diferent

  1. The 60...

    So... after you copy the files to you computer and you delete the files from the camcorder... then you edit the video project and decide you are finished so you output to a h.264 or MP4 file data file... and burn a standard definition DVD...

    Awesome... Project is done, delete the project files because the next project is coming in the door...

    You remember that video you got that would go great in the new project??? oh wait - it is gone. Unless you maintain a full set of copies of the original video data files on another drive or a set of DVDs...

    or...

    THIS BAND IS SO LOUD - WAIT, THE HARD DRIVE IS LOCKING UP... because the vibrations from the music are causing the hard drive heads to park so the camcorder goes into buffer overflow and won't record... Page 5 of the Handbook.

    or...

    OMG! This is SO beautiful being at the top of this mountain... wait... is it higher than 9,800 feet? I *hope* this works because I'm never going to be here again... Page 5 of the Handbook.
