Voice Activated Dialing (VAD), and an excellent GPS system to travel around the world with no problem at all. So which would be the best version of blackberry smartphone. I am very confused. They say the the Blackberry 8830 is a world edition and then the blackberry 9000 bold has an excellent GPS system. Which one will be good. Thank you.

I have the 8830 and I love it.  Had it 2 years almost, and will never get another phone.

GPS, Email, Browsers (one built in, and Opera Mini I downloaded), Yahoo and MSN messenger, Facebook, The calendar syncs with google calendar, Media player (I use it with Tivo2go to watch all my missed programs),  Bluetooth, and more.

Just make sure you download google maps for it.  Yes, the built in map program is better for driving,  but google maps is better for locating businesses  (eg, type in pizza, and it will tell you the 5 nearest pizza places)
