I want to buy a car from the USA

I live in toronto and i am interested in buyin a car from the states. Is it really cheaper to do so? What kind of taxes do i pay once i cross the border? License plates? I have no clue, I just found a car that 4 grand cheaper than in Toronto and its clean. (i ran a carfax) thank you!

You need to check with the Canadian boarder and they will tell you what you have to pay.  There is just going to be a tax but I am sure it will not be 4k.  The value of the Canadian dollar compared to the US dollar is so good right now a lot of Canadians are coming to the US to buy cars and boats.
