I want to buy a car!!?

Question

I want to buy a new or used car it doesn't matter. However, I want to:

- be able to pay less than 29000-30000 with dealer's fees, license plates registration... (everything)

- Get the best mpg (preferable 30mpg+)

- Buy a really nice (and good looking) car for a 22 year old man!

My thoughts so far are:

Toyota: Camry hybrid, Corolla, Prius

Honda: Civic hybrid

Acura: TSX

Ford: Focus

Do you have any OTHER suggestions? or comments about the cars I just mentioned?

Subaru Impreza Outback Sport w/ Sport Grille. Though it doesn't get 30+ MPG, it's one of the safest vehicles.

If you want to look good I'd go with an Acura TL or something along those lines. That is, if you only want something that makes you look good. In my opinion, do not get a focus or a civic, too teenager's first car. Camry, Corolla, Prius is too soccer mom. Acura TSX is not a bad choice though.

avoid the new Ford Focus, the older ones were better.

Acura TSX is an excellent car.

I'd avoid getting a hybrid, wait and see what the future brings, prices come down things change

all those cars scream lame. if 30,000 is your cap go get a 2 year old corvette. they will get close to 30 mpg on the highway and they look killer.

i think your best bet would be the Honda Civic Hybrid.

The honda civic hybrid is actually a really well rounded car. It gets good MPG, its good in insurance, and its really safe.

The camry and the corolla are both soulless to drive, not to mention the fact that everyone and their grandmother has one.

The Acura doesn't get too good of MPG, and you'll be paying alot for the sticker price, way more than your budget.

And as for the focus, this generation is better than any other, but i still wouldn't buy it. To me, it looks ugly, and cheap.
