  1. Hi well if you don't already have a camera HP makes a nice 1 and not very expensive and has a large screen on the back so you can see you pictures before you take it.

For printing I would by a machine just for printing pictures they are not very expensive I got one for 50.00 dollars and it works great.

Don't go spending all kinds of money to start take it easy and later if you want to update well you can my HP camera and my machine just for printing pictures works great and it didn't cost me a lot of money and I still get great pictures.

So start out easy you don't need to spend lots of money to have really nice Pictures good luck.

  2. You can get a good digital camera starting at $100 and then they go up from there.  I have had a couple of Canons, and they are great brands.  Make sure you get a memory card (at least 1 GB) so that you can store a lot of pictures.  I prefer to have my pictures printed at Sam's, Walmart, CVS, etc. because the cost of ink and paper for a photo printer gets to be pretty pricey.  If you really want to print at home, you might look into a Kodak EasyShare with a dock.  Go to Circuit City, Best Buy, or otherwise specialized electronics store instead of a "big box" like Walmart so you can get a salesperson who might actually know what he/she is talking about.

  3. Canon A580 PowerShot Bundle. Comes with photo printer for only $199.84. I think canon take the best photos.

    come on...now that's funny!!!

Anyway...if you are good with computer graphics, I suggest getting a computer that has a built-in card reader.  Or you can purchase one relatively cheaply.  This will allow you to remove the memory card from the camera and copy / delete / edit the pictures on it.   I find it much easier to do that than to plug in my camera or try to print right from the camera.

When printing, I think it's important to view every picture on your screen to see if it looks okay.  We no longer need to waste money on bad or out of focus prints.  Get yourself some nice photo paper and a good printer.  Trial and error is the only way to hone your skills.

    Good luck!
