  1. Mamiya ZD.12.000$.And if you are that rich it is just for you...

  2. I am going to differ with the other answerers here. They are all correct in the U.S. dollar prices but I have a feeling that you are not talking about dollars or you would not need to ask us here. The cameras listed are all top of the line professional model cameras. If you are looking for one of those you should already know what they cost. If by chance you just have a ton of money then go for it. One important question though is. Do you know how to use any of these cameras?

  3. Hi Shiva:).   Sounds like you are a very serious photographer.    Not like you have many choices if you are needing a camera in that price range.  Maybe one choice at this time.   The Hasselblad medium format digital fits your price range requirement... but needless to say,  it is probably the best you can find.    I do have another suggestion though...   Why not buy the professional Nikon D3 12MP full frame DSLR($5000.00) or the Canon EOS MkIII ($8000.00) and either buy a second back-up or spend the extra $$$ on fabulous lenses.   To be realistic,  Professional quality lenses will cost as much or more than the camera itself and can be used on the next cameras that you intend to invest in.   But you probably already know that.   If I had as much money as you to invest, my choice would be the Canon EOS Mark III  and one of the beautiful L model lenses....  probably the 500mm....  the one that you see being used on TV.  Hope that gives you something to think about.  Good Luck.

  4. Did you say 10 to 14 thousand??? Ummm that thing better be in all gold and take pictures that walk out of that camera itself for that kind of money.

  5. your mad!!!!!!!!!!!! its a camara not an opparation. get a normal one in argos, harvy norman (ect). That would cost about 100 to 200 euro/ pounds.

  6. You can buy one Canon 1Ds Mark III ($8,000) with a couple of good fast lenses or you can buy two Nikon D3's ($5,000 each) with a couple of nice fast lenses.

The Mamiya digital will exactly fit into your budget at just under $11,000.

Sad to say the Hasselblad in your price range is not a digital, but uses film.  The Hasselblad H3Dii is nearer $40,000

That said, there are two things to consider:

Any digital body will have to be replaced every three to four years, so buying the most expensive one is not a guarantee of superior image making.  Those of us who make a living with photography spend our money on lenses and replace the bodies as needed with cameras that have the features we want or need.  This sometimes means we have a couple of $1,500 cameras hanging on some $7,000 to $12,000 lenses (the 400 mm f/2.8 and 600 mm f/4.0 come to mind)

  7. You can buy a digital SLR camera for about $1500, and then you can buy over $80,000 worth of lenses for all kinds of different photography.  But if you only wanna spend 14,000 there are lenses for that price as well.

  8. Sheesh

  9. $10-14,000? I hate to say this and sound rude, but the way you posted your question makes you sound like you're ten years old and broke.

Having said that there are a number of companies that sell camera's for that price range. You can also get cameras that are just as good, for cheaper.

When buying a camera you have to consider many things: mp's, shutter speed, sensor size, and other components.

The Canon EOS-1Ds has 10.1 mp and sells for appr. $8,000+

Hasselblad is by far one of the most expensive camera companies around.

A Hasselblad medium format camera sells for $12,995. That includes one digital back.

  10. Do you think buying an expensive camera will make you a better photographer? Cause it's not! However, to answer your question...

    Hasselblad 503CWD
