I'm thinking about a crestliner type boat, about 16-20 feet.

  1. Depends on the size of your boat , ( & the weight!). Will you be tournament fishing? Tournament ski-ing?

If you get a 16FT, you could probably "ski & fish" with as little as a 60-75,(pulling only 1 "adult" skier or tuber at a time. This would mean there were only 2 adults "in the boat" & 1 "tubing/ski-ing".)

Boats OVER  18FT you should definitely get a 90-150.(With a 150 , you can pull 2 skier's or tubers at a time with NO problems.)

In general, check the "Coast Guard Rating" on the hull of the boat & opt for the largest motor they reccomend, if you want a good Ski/Fish combo.

    Hope this helped?
