  1. I have always wanted a horse too, but responsible pet owners do the right thing for their pets.  If you cannot keep the horse in adequate housing, consider waiting until you can afford to care for it.  Don't forget, a horse should also be seen by a farrier (a hoof expert) about every six weeks to eight weeks so that his feet are kept in good shape.  There is also the matter of worming, grooming, and tests to be sure he does not have a contagious disease.  All of these things are necessary for a happy and healthy animal.  If you really love horses, I know that you will want to do the right thing.

  2. Goodness, horses are not $100!!!! or $250!!! Are you crazy? A good horse casts maybe $2,000, untrained. you can't have a horse in your backyard. And it costs lots of money each moth to care for a horse. So you should not buy one at all until you have at least 3 acres for the horse and maybe $15,000 you are willing to put off for the horse for the first year.

  3. I don't know what you want us to help with. If you don't have any land or the money to board a horse you don't need one.

  4. Well, you can't get one then. Horses are more than 100-250. Plus the cost of care, feeding and especially exercise.

  5. You probably should find someplace to keep a horse first, then get it.  And, horses arent cheap animals.  Unless you rescue one,  you are looking at maybe 600 or 700 at least for a healthy horse.  Good luck though, horses are great.

  6. You better get a job for they are expensive
