Buying a house is a good investment, instead of paying rent you never see again you pay into equity. You pay yourself, and the mortgage company for a long time but its better than never seeing the money again.

Realtors, respectable ones, work together to move property because it is how they get paid. Go with a group, around here, the other end of the country, we have Remax for example. Ask around, find a person to work with that works for you.  Someone you're comfortable with.

Don't settle, take your time, get the right location for the right price for you. Condo's are a money pit. Get a little land, a yard to play and plant in. Don't rush it, the right place at the right time will happen for you. Save all your pennies, take them to the bank, it will help.
