There are many options available in the market. Personally, I would log on to http://www.dell.co.in/ and look at different varieties of notebooks. I have an Inspiron. You can look at Vostro or Inspiron. I heard that the Dell Studio's are also quite good.

if u want to buy a laptop then go for ibm or compaq. toshiba is also good but its parts is very much costly and now it is not easily available in the market. ibm laptop is quite a bit costly compare to compaq but believe me the performance of ibm laptop is the the best and it is also well feature which u like. and if want to buy quite a bit cheap laptop then go for compaq it is also good. But remember one thing ibm laptop is much more reliable than compaq.

believe me . hp is the best company for laptops or desktops. it is very reliable. it is the best in terms of look and feel and entertainment quotient. it is also good for business purpose too.
